Sandro Di Camillo (né en 1976) est un photographe italien attentif aux expérimentations et aux possibilités expressives du langage photographique, non pas comme un simple support descriptif, mais comme un outil de création.
EXPÉRIENCE
Il a participé à plusieurs expositions et ses travaux photographiques ont été récompensés par divers prix.
Lauréat ex-equo du prix international Fotoesordio 2006, son travail est exposé dans la salle Pietro Gismondi de l'Université de Tor Vergata et à la Galerie nationale d'art moderne de Rome.
Toujours en 2006, il remporte un concours lancé par le Goethe-Institut de Rome et représente l'Italie en Europe, dans le cadre du projet Ulysse, avec l'œuvre multimédia Heimat.
En 2007 et 2008, il participe à Photographie - Festival International de Rome avec deux expositions collectives La città continua (dont il est également le commissaire) et la vitrine de
Devant.
Il est finaliste dans la section photographie au Celeste International Award en 2008, son œuvre (Berlin Babylon) est exposée dans l'espace d'exposition de la Fabbrica Borroni, Bollate Milano.
En 2009, il est finaliste du prix Terna, avec l'œuvre photographique "STRUCTURE".
Toujours en 2009, il a été finaliste du prix international G.Tabò, son œuvre 'Berlin Babylon' a été exposée à l'Istituto Superiore Antincendi (I.S.A.) de Rome.
En 2014, il a été le gagnant du concours photo organisé par "Il Mitte".
Toujours en 2014, il a été le gagnant du concours international Off Site Art : un projet d'art public dédié à L'Aquila.
En 2018, il a remporté le concours international de photographie URBANPHOTO dans la section portfolio avec le projet VIA RUPTA.
Toujours en 2018, il a été le gagnant, dans la section photo conceptuelle, du concours international 35Awards.
Depuis 2008, il s'occupe de projets très personnels et de commandes éditoriales.
ISTRUZIONE
Etudes à l'Accademia Di Belle Arti de Rome (1999-2004).
De 2004 à 2007, il a suivi le Master triennal à l'Istituto Superiore di Fotografia e Comunicazione Integrata de Rome.
De 2007 à 2010, il étudie la photographie contemporaine à Berlino.
