Concept

Pablo Urruti's work moves along the border between sculpture and architecture, which is sometimes difficult to see, always with an abstract-geometric accent, who likes to reinterpret the paths followed by the historical avant-garde, such as Futurism, Neoplasticism or Constructivism. Other constants of his work are the taste for formal and chromatic harmony together with the passion to show the passage of time in his investigations on the oxidation of various metals.

This close relationship between sculpture and architecture is shown in a special way in the series called Skyscraper, by abstracting the most sculptural building that exists: the skyscraper.

For all this we will find both in the graphic work and in the sculpture, polychrome pieces or finished in steel, bronze or zinc. He also works with other materials such as alabaster, and within the graphic work he also makes giclée silkscreen prints handmade by the author.
