This work was inspired by the idea of reproducing on canvas the draping technique used in fashion design, in which fabric is directly formed on a mannequin. The work was created by using actual fabric, considering the size of the canvas and the balance of the folds, coloring it with acrylic paints, and adding gold leaf accents to accentuate the movement. One day, I had this idea of "what if I use draping technique that I learned in fashion school on the canvas ?" . Here it comes, I have tried it and this is the art piece that the idea came to the reality. Focused on the balance of folded lines and space, coated with acrylic paint with gilding accent. You can enjoy 3D effect on the canvas. Material : Linen Acrylic Gold Lead On Canvas
