Description

This work, beyond the apparent simplicity, is a very complex and articulated work. Silver, a material that I love and that I often use in my sculptures to give a heavy metal appearance, contrasts with the real lightness of the materials. The shapes and cuts blend and balance on the surface, fixing and leaving traces, testimony, of emotions that would otherwise vanish.

Concept

My work can be summarized in three words: research, rhythm, balance.
Search for materials and solutions that satisfy what I imagined to achieve; rhythm in composition: as in music, the compositional rhythm must be fluid for the observer; balance in the forms that must be compensated for in terms of size and arrangement.

My training path starts from the study of the techniques of the classical masters (I was born as a restorer) and then evolves over time, up to an abstract language.
The materials I use are of the most varied, from 999/1000 silver to 24kt gold, raku ceramic, papier-mâché, India ink, engraving and more. What all this has in common is my language.

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
