The shape of the Drop series is based on the motif of "drop-in", a skateboarding technique of sliding down from a high place with great energy. The city, where people, things, and events intersect in an overcrowded manner and the same scene is never repeated, is seen as a space that contains chaos and fragility, where countless dramas occur and disappear simultaneously. The circular mortar at the bottom of the work is intended to resemble a cracked road surface, creating a sculptural work that seems to be a hollowed-out part of the urban space.
