    Description

    This is a three-dimensional work based on an image of a lizard, expressed using paper craft technology. The body and feet are sculpted. Colorful floral patterns are superimposed on the original expression of the lizard. The surface has a glossy texture. The figure is a large work, measuring approximately 32 cm in length. The body lines are intonated and modeled dynamically, giving it a very dynamic finish. We have previously produced a floral pattern, but this one is a pattern with multiple cold-toned petals. The overall impression is bright and pop. Size: 15 cm (H) x 32 cm (W) x 11 cm (D) Weight: 300 g or less A certificate of authenticity will be attached to this work. A clear panel is attached on a wooden panel. A hook for hanging a string is attached on the back of the panel, and the year of production and the artist's signature are written on the hook. The panel is made of wood and finished with matte white paint (acrylic paint). The body is made of glossy photo paper and finished with a clear coating.

    Concept

    Yojiro started creating in addition to producing mixed-media sculptures that he had worked on until then, he began producing work using papercraft techniques. Since then, his papercraft work is highly evaluated by contemporary artists Katsuhiko Hibino and Milan Fukuda. Now he has been engaged in a wide range of activities with a view to new possibilities of papercraft art including collaborating with companies.
