GLADIATOR, warrior of light for a newfound peace

Presented in preview at the contemporary art fair "Art Home Expo" on the island of Impressionists in Chatou (78) on March 25, 26 and 27, 2022, GLADIATOR surprised art lovers with its power and presence.

In the same spirit as his big brother SPARTACUS, this new knight of modern times is adorned with a shoulder armor, as well as a tattoo of multicolored stained glass in his back.

The knight's helmet gives a glimpse of his soul: a warrior, or a god from antiquity, protector of peace and men.

Metal sculptures made exclusively from rebar and stained glass.
Through his works, David FABIÉ plays with the material by creating a play of transparency and light. The coldness of the iron contrasts with the warmth of the stained glass to give life to busts, mostly female.
