Description

The 1/10th copper sheet is heated with a blowtorch before working, this makes it more malleable and accentuates my patinas during the finishes which are done using steel wool and varnish in successively superimposed layers.
Sheets of embossed, resinated and cast copper; all assembled in 3D on a blue marble base. Lacquer and varnish paint. Patinas and varnishes.

Concept

The 1 / 10th copper sheet is heated with a torch before working, this makes it more malleable and accentuates my patinas during the finishes which is done using steel wool and varnish in successively superimposed layers.
Embossed copper foil on a linen canvas frame. Background made in oil paint with a knife and spatula. Patinas and varnishes. Handmade frame.
Embossed copper sheet, resinated and fixed in 3D on a wooden support primed as it should.

It takes me about a month to make a work, between the drying of the background and that of my forms that I come to embed in 3D; so I work on at least three creations at the same time ... and I slow down a bit because I have so much imagination.

Does this art work need a frame?

What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
