The theme of the long time between forests and animals is expressed in a single motif, the teddy bear. When I walk in the natural environment of the Yatsugatake Mountains, I feel "living nature" and "natural time," which are different from those of human society. Yatsugatake is also a place where the Jomon culture flourished, and many clay figurines and earthenware have been excavated. They are primitive, spellbinding and charming. The three-dimensional objects created by our ancestors 10,000 years ago are very creative and give us thoughts of a long time ago. The teddy bears are made according to traditional teddy bear production methods, with separate arms and ankles, and can be moved. Natural tree branches and clay are also used. (This is the artist's original production method and won the Grand Prix at the Japan Teddy Bear Association's contest.) Handling Unlike ordinary stuffed animals, this product is not suitable for touching. The surface is specially processed and natural materials such as branches are incorporated into the work, so please be careful of damage. The work is painted with watercolors, so please handle with care. *The work cannot be displayed outdoors, and the photo is an image only.
