A lamp work that creates a world inside an old clock box. The ticking sound of time has stopped, and the empty box continues to absorb the darkness of the night that repeatedly visits the place where it has been sleeping unnoticed. The clock symbolizes the concept of time. Time is accumulated in every creation in its own way, and in a sense, that time itself begins to have its own beauty. However, just as there is beauty in the accumulation of time, there is also fleeting beauty in the gradual decay of materials as time passes. This work was born out of an encounter with a broken clock that had long since fallen asleep after having fulfilled its function as a clock. The regular sound that the small cog continued to make has changed its meaning to the heartbeat and rhythm played by a larger nature, and light lights up in the blank space where silence has accumulated. Civilization and nature, light and shadow, blank stillness and tone... A story that dreams of a world in which two opposing worlds gently, shimmering together.
