    Description

[A world that is constantly being explored by all creations, now and in the past, and that is constantly changing its form. Some through sleep, some through writing, some through music, some through painting, some through sculpture, and some through opening the door to travel. That world formed by those who seek "light. In natural daylight, it is a serene white world. It transforms into a serene and warm world of peace and tranquility when a lamp is lit in the pitch-dark of night. And when illuminated by weak light, the shadows on the ceiling and the walls on both sides create a landscape painting. Day and night, light and shade... Everything shines because it contains opposites and contradictions. Sculpture clay, brass, wood, watercolor paper, LED light bulb. The whale, egret, and birds are hand-carved sculptures. The cello, easel, and bed are sculpted using brass. Each book is bound with watercolor paper. The lamp is lit by a built-in LED bulb. The lamp can be lit using two AA batteries. The work is created using a unique method that applies techniques and skills acquired from self-taught painting, three-dimensional production, woodworking, painting, cooking, and all other experiences related to various occupations and lifestyles. • About this artist

    Concept

Born in Kyoto in 1989 and raised in Yamaguchi. Painting, modeling, lighting ・Mixed media Exploring the infinite possibilities that reside in the harmony of light and shadow. Through art that expresses the essential harmony between nature and mankind, I evoke the viewer's inner freedom and imagination. [My art is a journey to find freedom in the harmony of light and shadow. My childhood memories of the breath of nature are the source of my creativity. Through old clock parts and paper forms, I express the intersection of past and present. The light that resides there reflects the cycle of wisdom and life. The warmth of handmade work is important to him, and he weaves the relativity of light and shadow into his works. This is a quiet question to contemporary society and an attempt to explore true freedom. Finding harmony in seeming opposites and expressing the infinite possibilities that lie therein is at the core of my creative process. My works reflect the subtleties of a mind that wavers between hope and despair, light and dark. But these may be different aspects of a whole. It is my hope that this perspective will help viewers to realize their own inner harmony. Through art, to provide a place to face the essential questions of life and find harmony with nature. That is my mission. I will continue to explore the infinite possibilities that dwell between light and shadow, and continue to create freely and imaginatively.
