  • About this Blind rage

    Description

This sculpture was made from feeling's of pure anger.

The sculpture is blind because anger can never see, not even when it has 5 eyes. It is exactly like fire. Great servant but very bad master. Do not be afraid of it, but learn how to use it in a healthy way.

Anger is a very scary emotion, but it is necessary for your well-being. It is there to simply protect you. Do you know how healthy anger looks like? Example: It is just a word no.

What I have been learning in this life is that absolutely anyone can be a monster. We all have it inside of us, but it is up to you how you use that. Reach to your own monster inside you and when you start to learn it's power, it helps you to say no. Never let it lead you. It brings only destruction and horror if you cannot control it. I have been unlucky to be in way of many people's monsters before and I have my scar's from those accidents.
It is absolutely critical to know yourself. If you do not know yourself you will hurt many out of ignorance.
Do you really know who you are? Who you want to be?

The dragon, and the mountain under her is made of my eco- clay and recycled paper. I was so intrigued to sculpt the ripped muscles. It was plainly so delightful.
The holes that are dripping with black something, are weirdly creepy to me.

Reminder that anger is your mind saying to you, that something you don't like is happening. Maybe someone crossed your boundary.
Anger says to you something. The best healthy anger is just saying politely no and walking away. No need for violence.

Some inspiration for this sculpture came from Kentaro Miura's Manga: Berserk.

    Concept

Art therapist, mixed media fantasy artist, sculptor and a lady, Säde (which means sun beam), describes her art as a fantastic eco- art. She has the passion and skills to make art from recycled papers and cellulose parts. She adores the idea of making something beautiful and breathtaking out of something used and forgotten.

Säde uses her therapy background and strong feelings and life situations for creating her arts. She is one of the last noble lady's in her bloodline and her roots are of very old heritage. She have studied visual arts in well known school in her country. Her take in art is to make something beautiful, shocking and tasteful. Säde says: "I talk feelings/ experience through my art. I like to make something we can only feel to something we can watch and touch, to manifest the feeling into reality".

Säde creates her works as ecological as possible. Inventing new solutions all the time in her works and methods. She likes to use mostly recycled paper and finish the works by her own invented meticulous techniques.
Säde has also invented eco- clay that she uses also in her works that is plastic free. She considers patent for it.
