    Description

Delicate, yet massive, exquisite tusk replica, made from my one of a kind eco- clay.

I created this enormous elephant tusk replica from my own invention: Eco- clay. It has recycled cellulose materials inside as a skeleton. I am so excited how real and elegant it feels and seems. It is great how magical and massive this tusk looks like in real life.

My goal is to make ecological, ethical and morally good art. This tusk is from creature you have never harmed. It is vegan friendly and a good indication to love our planet and its inhabitants. A marvelous way to show your intellectuality and philosophy, a way to have very interesting conversations.

I had my inspiration from my dad and his good will and moral of not killing a elephant, even when he had the permission to do it. His heartwarming explanation for all elephant's sake was inspiring. This is a way of appreciate his choice. You don't have to kill, to have something amazing. What is real, if not this eco- ivory I made out of a story I heard?

  • About this artist

    Concept

Art therapist, mixed media fantasy artist, sculptor and a lady, Säde (which means sun beam), describes her art as a fantastic eco- art. She has the passion and skills to make art from recycled papers and cellulose parts. She adores the idea of making something beautiful and breathtaking out of something used and forgotten.

Säde uses her therapy background and strong feelings and life situations for creating her arts. She is one of the last noble lady's in her bloodline and her roots are of very old heritage. She have studied visual arts in well known school in her country. Her take in art is to make something beautiful, shocking and tasteful. Säde says: "I talk feelings/ experience through my art. I like to make something we can only feel to something we can watch and touch, to manifest the feeling into reality".

Säde creates her works as ecological as possible. Inventing new solutions all the time in her works and methods. She likes to use mostly recycled paper and finish the works by her own invented meticulous techniques.
Säde has also invented eco- clay that she uses also in her works that is plastic free. She considers patent for it.
