As children, we make associations with objects, animals, people and different situations when we observe clouds, for example. It's the moment we work our creative, cognitive process. It's the kind of visual phenomenon that we carry around all our lives and it has a weird name: pareidolia, which is also a kind of apophenia. Despite subtly different phenomena, they go hand in hand in the representative intention of this work.
As our gaze evolves, enriching our imagery library and perception of the world, we often end up putting malice at the service of these apparitions in our daily lives.
“Ardida Mente” flirts with these shameless and malicious liaisons.
Whoever wants to see it and whoever doesn't, will see it too, even if he doesn't want to.
