Moments of serenity

Concept

I feel a natural tendency towards abstractions, and I am especially attracted to reflections on the surface of the sea, free from any reference to reality. These reflections, free of any reference to reality, allow me to express a liberation from the routine, the conventional, and at the same time share a journey into a parallel universe where imagination reaches further than vision. Also with these photographs I try to merge the photographic medium with results similar to painting. They are photographs with the appearance of paintings trying to free photographic art from an imitation of reality. However, my photographic captures paradoxically record another reality (a distorted, unrecognizable reality): they are distorted images floating on the surface of the sea. For this I use exclusively photographic techniques and post-processing is limited to minimal adjustments. This tendency towards abstraction does not prevent me from enjoying other more realistic subjects, although looking for a different reading of what is represented.
