This series of photographs is dedicated to a very old wooden house. This house was built from oak logs, which then received a second life and gave a lot of happiness and sadness. A hundred years ago, these logs were already someone's house, but they dismantled it and reassembled the house that my husband and I bought. Now this house is about 100 years old, and the logs are at least 150 years old. The walls of an old house can tell us about the past. He knows the past of other people. From him comes a desire to tell you about some of his secrets. The walls are damaged, wounded like the soul of a man who has lived a long and hard life. The walls, like a living being, absorb the vibrations and energies of different times, each crack and hole is filled with memories and experiences. They remember World War II, they remember the grief of the widow and the tears of sister, they remember the happiness of the birth of children and their first steps. When I touch these walls with my hand, I feel it all.
