This series of photographs is called Summer in Solitude and was shot in the Scandinavian archipelago during the summer of 2020, the first summer of Covid 19.
There comes a time when we have to let it all go, the way things used to be and the notion of the world we used to hold,
and we have to release ourselves from the chains that bind us, to what is now just, a decrepit old house. The fourth photo in the series depicts a single old house standing on the cliffs by the sea. The picture shows that no matter what, there is always a before, and there will always be an after, and someday this summer in solitude will stand like a forgotten milestone, similarly to this solitary old house.
The shoot took place during the summer holidays in Sweden.
