This series of photographs is called Summer in Solitude and was shot in the Scandinavian archipelago during the summer of 2020, the first summer of Covid 19.
The first photo in the series, Waiting for the world to turn, portrays a girl leaning against an upside-down rowboat on a summers day. It depicts waiting for the silence to be broken and the world to keep going, moving on from where it has seemingly stopped, in what promises to be an overcast and colorless Swedish summer holiday.
