This serie of photographs is shoot in the scandinavian archipelago during the summer of 2021, and
is named Cornelia. This is the first photograph in this serie and is named Vivid.
The title "Vivid Yellow" shows a young women standing in a field just next to the ocean, the shoot takes place in the golden hour of "the dusk", also called the twilight hour.
At the end of the 19th century, the Nordic artists developed a more nationalistic language in Nordic art, especially landscape painting but also in portrait painting. The artists here like to highlight the country's own uniqueness, it was common to catch dawn or dusk and the magical light this hour provided.
The photographer Malin Eld wants in the same timeless spirit to capture this spiritual hour and show the beauty of the country in the beautiful light, which is amplified here.
