INTERMEZZO
In a state of joyful weariness, I walked along pavements that didn't belong to me, with no one to talk to, towards projects that were undoubtedly destined to end badly. But today, I had decided that I had to dare to open those ever-closing curtains, step into the light and flee from the darkness that was so long ago.
They were in the alleyway leading down to the sea, supported by two broad shoulders covered in bricks.
I was there, in front of them, when the three knocks sounded. The curtains opened. It was the moment when men decide their destiny.
Driven by an ancestral voice, exhilarated by the wind of the walk, I left the ordinary to enter the light: the beach, the blue sky and the murmur of the sea.
My soul was closed, tonight it opened up

This image is taken from colour negative film with a medium format Mamiya 7 medium format camera. The negative is then scanned and reworked with Photoshop software.
