    Detail

    Description

Through this photograph, I expressed the growth and change of the city and the inorganic beauty hidden within it. Background of the work This photograph was taken at dusk. I wanted to capture a moment of stillness, detached from the hustle and bustle of the city. The time of sunset was the perfect moment to highlight the cranes, telephone poles, and buildings under construction, as the light changes dramatically, especially the silhouettes. Technical Points I paid particular attention to exposure and composition in this piece. To emphasize the silhouettes, I kept the exposure low to bring out the vivid gradient from blue to orange in the background, and to capture the details of the cranes and telephone poles clearly. The depiction of the sky is also an important element, with the subtle flow of clouds and changes in light enriching the overall atmosphere. Symbolism and Theme The theme of this work is the contrast between the growth of the city and its inorganic structures and the silence and beauty that lurks within. Cranes and buildings under construction symbolize the growth and change of the city, but through their inorganic beauty, the work aims to re-evaluate a moment in urban life. Finding extraordinary beauty in the everyday is the aim of this work. My Perspective When I took this photograph, I followed my instincts and challenged myself to capture a moment in urban life from a keen perspective and to express the beauty and heartlessness within it. While I used my technical skills, I also left a lot to my sensitivity and intuition. For me, this creative process is always a series of new discoveries. Conclusion This piece captures the growth and change of a city and the beauty that lies within. Through the silence and tension created by the contrast between the light of dusk and the silhouettes, I hope that you too can sense the beauty of the city's momentary stillness and growth.
