    Description

This work captures a scene I encountered one day while walking through a bamboo grove. Bamboo is a very powerful plant, but it also has a sense of serenity. I wanted to express both aspects in the photograph. First, regarding the composition, I focused on the rhythm of the vertical lines of the bamboos. By capturing the dense line of bamboos in the entire image, I wanted to convey a sense of the power of nature, while at the same time expressing tranquility and order. The spacing between the bamboos is irregular, but this is a key point that evokes the chaos and harmony of nature. The lighting is also ingenious. The contrast between the light hitting the bamboos and the shadows is used to emphasize the knots of the bamboos. In particular, the light hitting the bamboo in the center plays a role in attracting the eye. The use of this light makes the three-dimensionality and presence of the bamboo stand out even more. In terms of color, by capturing the green, brown, and bluish hues of the bamboos, I added depth to the otherwise monotonous scenery of the bamboo grove. In this way, I tried to create a harmony of colors for the viewer to enjoy. We also focused on capturing the detailed textures of the bamboo's knots and surfaces. This allows the viewer to feel the presence of the bamboo not only visually, but also tactilely. I believe that evoking tactile sensations is a very important element in nature photography. Throughout these photographs, I wanted to express the serenity, strength, and natural beauty found in a bamboo grove. I hope you can sense the beauty and wonder hidden within nature. Through this work, I hope that everyone can see the many charms that exist in the seemingly ordinary landscape of a bamboo grove.
