A rare ephemeral spectacle, a sea of clouds graces Hong Kong’s urban landscape. Clouds stretch across Victoria Harbour cloaking the vibrant cityscape underneath, while only the tall skyscrapers emerge from below like sentinels. This spectacle, where nature converges with the urban, casts a dreamlike aura.
The scene, in which a sea of clouds still casts over the harbour and wraps around the building as if it were hiding the building from view, evokes the imagery of 'Castle in the Sky,' an animated fantasy film released in 1986.
The artwork received the Bronze Award at the 2023 EPSON International Pano Awards.
The image will be printed with pigmented inks on Hahnemuhle Fine Art Paper, featuring a 7.5cm wide white border (i.e. the actual image size is 90cm x 45cm).
This is a Limited Edition, with only 8 prints will be produced. Each print is made to order, with an estimated production time of 2-3 weeks.
