The work is part of the series "the line of the sea". The images are obtained through long exposure in order to give the sea a pictorial effect, as if it were a series of small brushstrokes. The inspiration comes from painting, in particular from the Leghorn painters of the late 19th century (post-macchiaioli).
The work represented here describes the bay of Zoagli (Liguria) at the end of April. The use of an ND filter made it possible to obtain the blur through a longer exposure time.
The photograph, printed in sixteen-nine format, on Hahnnemuhle RAG 310 paper, has the size of cm 100*cm56,6 and is mounted on DIBOND support. Behind it is equipped with an aluminum rail that allows it to be hung on the wall. Below the second aluminum bar allows the distance from the wall.
