We all wear different masks, and no one knows what is hidden beneath them. No one has walked in your shoes. No one can know what may lurk in another’s soul.
Sometimes, I meet people who assume they know me and judge a book by its cover, jump to conclusions, destined never to know me at all. Then there are those who are empathic and can read others instantly.
We all desire to be accepted as we are. But when colliding with the ‘surface’ of another person, rarely does anyone manage to see more than chaotic glimpses of expectations and projections.
Just like on this artwork, the glare of light dancing on the water surface in the form of a mask – it hides something deep in its depths.
