Nammaki Village in Gunma Prefecture is a village nestled between beautiful and harsh mountains and valleys. It is a place that captivated me as I traveled throughout Japan, and I chose it as the subject of my creative work. A way of life that has been handed down from generation to generation. I expressed the human breath of its ancestors in my work. The photographs were colored and chemicals were used to create unique works of art. All of these techniques were physical and intuitive objects, involving my personality to become one with the thoughts of people from the past, the surrounding landscape world, and the real material world. The pursuit of matter, texture, sensation, light and darkness. It is directed by size and composition. A magical mixed expression of smell, touch, dirt, computer and printer equipment. And the miraculous moment when the image finally emerges, sometimes surprising and powerful because it is not perfect, and it is a perfect work of art.
