Story:
On a weekend, we were invited to a friend’s condo at Higuerillas, located north of Viña del Mar. After a heavy lunch in the late afternoon, I went sightseeing and spotted a group of pelicans perched on nearby rocks. As I was setting up for the shot, a boat crossed the frame, so I captured the image. Later, when I developed the photo, I discovered that not only did the boat appear, but also a man standing on a seawall.

Concept

I am a passionate photographer, blessed with curious eyes that are constantly amazed by the forms and designs produced by water, and the combination of its temperature and light. No matter how many pictures I take of the same shot, every time I witness a very different expression.

My camera and I have been traveling around the world since 1977, registering its shapes and essence, which I have been sharing through large prints, as an homage to its abundance, fragility and essential existence; trying to convey the feeling I had at the time of the capture, most of the time in color and sometimes in monochrome.

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
