Story:
I was participating on the annual postal meetings in Bern. During the weekend I decided to visit again Grindelwald. Early Saturday at 6AM I was at the train station and by 8:30AM was taking the lift towards Pfingstegg, where the trails take you towards the Eiger glacier. At the beginning I had a very good trekking pace, until an elderly couple passed me, which showed how poor were my physical conditions at that time.
At a certain point decided to return, before it would be late, as my lodge was at the bottom of the mountain where I was trekking, followed a trail towards this direction instead of taking the lift. However, it had a very steep slope which affected my knees, the last kilometer was a nightmare, the pain increased as I went down. At a certain point I found this small waterfall, where I was able to rest for a while and capture various images. Recovering strengths, continued and finally arrive to the lodge, where I emptied 2 large beer mugs.
