Images printed on Ilford Fibre silver halide photographic B&W paper using a Lambda machine and shipped from NY.
Images printed on Photo Rag Baryta paper using a Canon 12 inks printer machine and shipped from Chile.

Story:
I published a few times images from this enchanted valley, it is close to the Bolivian Yungas subtropics, near La Paz. Although its altitude, it has a green vegetation due to the humid stream of air coming up the valley.

After a heavy rainy season, the torrential water running down the hills, destroyed most of the vegetation leaving a grey environment.

These images are details that I was able to capture when it had its splendor, however I am using the monochrome version mimicking the grey look that was left after the water destruction.

Concept

I am a passionate photographer, blessed with curious eyes that are constantly amazed by the forms and designs produced by water, and the combination of its temperature and light. No matter how many pictures I take of the same shot, every time I witness a very different expression.

My camera and I have been traveling around the world since 1977, registering its shapes and essence, which I have been sharing through large prints, as an homage to its abundance, fragility and essential existence; trying to convey the feeling I had at the time of the capture, most of the time in color and sometimes in monochrome.

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
