Story:
This was my first trip to India and had the chance to stay during the weekend at Bangalore. I traveled with my Medium Format camera and lots of film. My plan was to visit the Kaveri River which was 1-2 hours away, for which I contracted a taxi.
The previous day got food poisoning, and woke with fever, but thinking that I would not have a chance to return in the near future, bringing all the gear on a 30-hour travel, decided to continue with the original plan, taking plenty of water bottles.

We stopped at Shrirangapattana town where Kaveri River passed by. The first image mimics a crocodile which is found in certain areas of this river, the second image is red cloth that someone lost while washing upriver. The third image is at Pandavapura where the huge Krishnarajasagara Dam is located.

I am a passionate photographer, blessed with curious eyes that are constantly amazed by the forms and designs produced by water, and the combination of its temperature and light. No matter how many pictures I take of the same shot, every time I witness a very different expression.

My camera and I have been traveling around the world since 1977, registering its shapes and essence, which I have been sharing through large prints, as an homage to its abundance, fragility and essential existence; trying to convey the feeling I had at the time of the capture, most of the time in color and sometimes in monochrome.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
