Story:
We went on a picknick day to Río Clarillo, a National Reserve very close to Santiago. As usual I took my camera & tripod to the location. While looking for a place where I could better compose, found a rock and water flow shape that I wanted to register. Unfortunately, it was on the opposite side of the river.
As the river was not deep enough, I decided to walk through it. Left my shoes on the shore and started walking towards the other side, stepping over large rocks. I didn’t realize that one that was under the water, had a slippery moss. As soon as I placed my barefoot over it, I slipped, and an instant later, my camera, tripod and myself were under water.
Fortunately, the camera was on a Pelican oyster case, so no water ever touched my Rollei.
I had a hard time recovering the tripod that went to a deep part. After drying myself, I was able to take this image.
