Story:
Since young I had heard my father talking about a place in Santa Cruz called Espejillos, which was hard to get as it had almost no road, just clay pathway, very slippery even for 4WD. On a visit to Bolivia, after forty years of my father’s comment, the pathway was still in the same condition. My brother had a 4WD and we finally made it. Upon arrival, we discovered a beautiful gorge where crystal clear water carved the orange rock and clay sediments.
On this occasion, Sony had lent me one of their latest Alpha700 model, so I decided to test this camera before investing in a digital camera. Although it was a 16 Megapixel camera, I printed the strong colors on Kodak Metallic paper on sizes of 80 x 120 cm (31 x 47 inch) for an exhibit I made in an art gallery. I am very grateful with Sony, who not only lent me the equipment, but funded the exhibit in that opportunity.
