This portraits belong to a project called “Negrateníaskesé” which is a photographic series carried out in Cartagena Colombia during 2008/2009 that recreates some aspects of the Afro- Caribbean universe from the optics of the sensual and erotic, taking as decisive graphic element to the black woman / mulattress / supported by the iconicity of the daily things, the religious stuff, the mediátic aspect, the folkloric culture, but mainly accentuated on human factor as last end. Tinged with brushstrokes of humor, roguery visual, and a lot of chromatism, the voluptuousness of the female bodies, characteristic of the gender, intermingles with the daring forms of the foliage and typical fauna of the area giving an uncomplicated, cheerful and naïve visual symbiosis.
