The artist brings forth in a dramatic zoom the most intimate part of a flower : the pistil. In this photography, it simply springs forth in a fierce explosion of fuchsias and reds.
The bulbous pistil bounds from a deep red, where a horizontal line divides a lighter, upper, fuchsia color from this deeper, lower red. And the pistil like a monstrous, tentacular bulb in a dream comes forth in a spin of brightness and color, to finally become orange. It looks more like a painting than a photograph.
Like many of JuanManuel's creations, the feature of this work is that it can be seen on any of its side.
