Concept

Viet Ha Tran (b. 1981) is a Vietnam born and Spain based fine art photographer and contemporary artist whose unique art has earned her commissions from globally renowned entities such as Amazon USA, Louis Vuitton France, and Vogue Italy. Her work has appeared in over a hundred newspapers and magazines worldwide, including prestigious publications like Expansión, El Economista, Vogue Italia, Vanity Fair France, The Times of India, and Vietnam News.

She is currently a member of the Board of Directors at The Royal Photographic Society of Spain, becoming the first foreigner to hold such a position in the Society’s 125-year history. In this role, she contributes to promoting the art of photography, celebrating its profound impact on society and culture through multiple duties including acting as jury member for municipal and provincial photography contests and organizing and curating photography exhibitions organized by city halls and state and private cultural entities.

Before that, Tran served as a Jury member at IE Foundation Prizes in the Humanities at IE University, Spain during five years. She has given lectures and talks on art practice and art market at various conferences such as at The Royal Photographic Society and The Art Market Agency, further establishing her as a versatile professional in the art world. Singulart Magazine featured Tran in the "15 women in the art world to follow" list.

Tran was nominated "200 Influential Vietnam Global Leaders" in 2019 by the Vietnam Embassy in Spain and Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In 2024 she published her debut photography book "Like a Painting: Through the Eyes of the Soul" with a Danish publisher, which is available for viewing at the Royal Danish Library, Copenhagen, Denmark.
