    Description

This is from the series called 'Alechemist's dream' which is a picture book without words. Each work has its backstory that Yasu has thought but he also wants the viewers to create their story and want the viewers to flutter into their imaginary world. This is a series is created with the pieces of fantasy scene and a dream that alchemist draws every day.

"Once upon a time, there was a man, somewhere in the world.
He was working as an alchemist.
Every day at the laboratory, he would stare at the desk full of junks.
He would travel around the world of imagination.
The photographs here are the pieces of the world of imagination."

    Concept

His works include creating a world that transcends the boundaries between imagination and reality, and visualizing the presence of objects that have survived over many years with the "Capturing the invisible" as the main concept.
The work is photographed with silver halide film or wet plate photography using an 8x10 "camera. Not only because its beautiful, the reason why I insist on it, is also the legend that" photographs capture the truth "is common in analog photography.
By actually creating the imaginary world from scratch and putting it straight into the film, it can really exist in this world. The same goes with the process of capturing something invisible.
The most important is, I like to feel the body temperature of the creator by this way, rather than by perfect digital manipulation.
