Quoting a passage from Ryunosuke Akutagawa's "Rashomon". The "letter" is essentially a flat surface, but it changes the way we look at it. The artist uses a PC to draw a letter that is no longer a letter, or a shape of something that is not a letter, transforming into a letter. By using paper as the material and cutting and layering each piece by hand using a blade to create a three-dimensional form, the artist creates some kind of landscape, atmosphere, sentiment, or taste.
