This is a very delicate work cut from a sheet of paper with scissors. It will be delivered framed, but the work will be glued in several places to the mount (Japanese paper). If you would like the work alone, please let us know. Origami" is a traditional Japanese game such as "Ayatori," "OHASHIKI," and "OTEDAMA," but even though it has been replaced by other games over the years, "Origami" is still popular among children. The way flowers and animals are formed from a single sheet of paper is a source of wonder and excitement for children. Among them, I have had many opportunities to fold origami paper cranes as "senbazuru" (a thousand folded paper cranes) to pray for long life and recovery from illness, and my hands still remember how to fold them even as an adult. Even now, as an adult, my hands still remember how to fold them. I hope that this exhibition will help people to reflect on the fact that we live our lives surrounded by such things.
