    The series is a bit sentimental reflection on the subject of self-identification. We shape the space around us, or maybe it shapes us.
    Formally, the series is united by a carved figure and a defragmented space, which seems to raise the question of the relationship between the person and the place such person occupies in society.

    Concept

    Adaptability, the ability to be critical of one's own and others' positions as well as empathy are the
    most attractive human traits to me. Also useful for the survival of our specie I must say.
    That is why in my artistic practice I explore the ambiguity of what we see, hear, and think. The
    the adult brain usually uses the minimum necessary set of information to filter things, events, and
    people into familiar categories and determine attitudes toward them.
    With my works, I try to gently "break" the viewer's brain, to cause a shift in perception, building
    new associations so that new neural connections begin to form in the brain.
    I try to be minimalistic in my practice. Minimal environmental impact. Minimal means of
    expressing an idea.
    In my installation projects, I`m trying to draw the spectators into by-hand interaction with the works.

    In many cases, art works with a canvas stretched over a wooden frame can be displayed as is. Thin art works other than canvases are easier to frame. For any questions or concerns please chat us.
