    Description

Abdul Rahman Chughtai (1897~1975) was a painter, nationalist artist, and leading Pakistani art icon who was active in Lahore, the cultural and artistic center of Pakistan. His work also reveals his belief in Islamic cosmopolitanism as envisioned by the poet and philosopher Muhammad Iqbal.
