Bright watercolor work street in Venice.
I try to visit Italy every year.
Venice is music, the depth of the blue and the viscosity of the gray sky, the rustling of pigeons' wings on San Marco, the taste of ice cream and chiquetti, the ringing of bells, prego, cracked brick houses, thick wooden shutters and laconic crosses.

Concept

In my artistic practice, I create an image of the everyday world woven from fragments, momentary images in human perception. Memories, feelings, associations - the 'human too human' literally covers real objects. I visualize this phenomenon with the help of my own theory of layers, a principled multiplicity of visual images of the world filtered through the prism of subjective perception."
