Material: Wooden panel / Watercolor paper / Transparent watercolor Size: 185 x 330mm This is a painting of alpacas playing in a white swimming pool. The pool has some nostalgic items such as a water slide and folding chairs. The waterslide I saw as a child was very powerful, cool, and exciting. But I never got to play properly, and many of the pools from that time are now closed or abandoned. I painted this picture of an alpaca secretly playing in a half-abandoned, empty swimming pool, to relieve my disappointment at that time. The technique is transparent watercolor, except for the pool, which is painted a little thicker with opaque paint. This makes the water look more transparent and sparkling in contrast. The paper is pasted on a wooden panel, so it can be displayed on the wall as it is if there are hooks or studs (of course, it can also be framed). (Of course, it can be framed, but you need to peel off the painting from the panel to frame it for watercolor paintings. For oil paintings, you can put them in as they are.)
