Concept

I’m a watercolor artist, a master of decorative and applied arts. I am from Ukraine.
After the start of the war in Ukraine, I temporarily moved to Poland, where I currently live. I am an artist by education and I cannot live without it.
Watercolor has chosen me.
This is a sort of cooperation. Water, pigment, paper, positive thoughts and love mixed up together into the creative process.
Of course, I do not miss opportunity to work with other materials.
My inspiration takes origin in the outer world with all its components.
The war in my country has become an essential part of my painful and creative life as well.
The genre doesn't matter - landscape, portrait or still-life. Emotional impression due to color, atmosphere and light is initial.
It is interesting that people looking at my landscapes feel so exactly what I wanted to say. Although there are no concrete words, people perceive it because of the atmosphere and color.
My inspiration is the light from the window that pours in at night, the person who passed by and just looked at you, the trees that sleep in winter and the sunset that sheds bright colors on the world.
It is important to understand that art itself can heal wounds through the process itself or through the contemplation of something beautiful
I always wanted my works to give the light of hope and remind - there is so much beauty in the world around us, it is worth looking inside sometimes to feel and see not only with the eyes, but also with the heart.
