Words heard from the work
The Ark of Life that burns and becomes a star. This life is precious and beautiful, for it has become a nutrient for the earth through death, which comes equally to us all. I cherish this moment that I could be in your heart and become a star."
This work was painted with Noah's Ark in mind.
The lower animal is a combination of a cat, a witch's messenger, the moon, and the Ark.
The upper beasts are a cloud + dragon, transforming the souls of the dead and burned into the stars of the sky.
The topmost monster is the inside of the mouth of the cloud dragon, as seen from the perspective of the soul being converted. The inside of the mouth is covered with Japanese paper.
The souls of the dead are glittering in the sky, watching over and cheering for you, the precious one.
