This watercolor painting depicts a heron that has caught a frog, but the frog has shown active resistance instead of accepting its fate as lunch. The frog is trying to strangle the heron, and it looks like it will succeed! This painting is a watercolor version of the old “Don’t give up!” meme.

This painting was hand-painted, using professional Winsor&Newton watercolors and 140lb (300g/m2) cotton watercolor paper.

Concept

In my watercolors Ia gives credit to the beauty of nature, be it a beautiful landscape, flowers or animals.
I puts her love and soul into watercolors, partly because it is freedom. Water can not be fully controlled; but real harmony doesn’t exist without chaos! In addition to the diploma of art school, I has a university degree in Mathematics, and, according to her, it helps in the creative work, as watercolors requires of the artist maximum concentration and strategic thinking.

What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
