"Pearl Tear" is one of my favorite pieces. Butterflies are a symbol of soul and transformation. Pearls also represent soul and purity. Both of these symbols represent the transition and change of a young girl. However, her expression is sad. Perhaps this is due to unwillingness and indecision, but this will not change much, since the chrysalis will inevitably turn into a butterfly, no matter how much it worries about the thought of imminent changes.
The work was done in professional watercolors on high-quality thick paper.
