In this diptych of two watercolor paintings, each measuring 50x65 cm, I sought to capture the raw and intimate connection between two women. The minimalistic composition emphasizes the striking profiles of two female faces, their red lips meeting in a tender kiss. With bold black lines and the stark contrast of white and black, the simplicity of the imagery draws the viewer into the powerful emotional core of the artwork. The red lips, central to both pieces, symbolize passion and desire, while the abstract elements add a layer of sensuality and mystery.
Influenced by pop art and minimalist abstraction, this diptych explores the themes of love, sensuality, and connection.
