    Description

This watercolor painting tells a story that intertwines the past and present, like threads in the skillful hands of a craftswoman. The main character of the piece is a red rose—a symbol of beauty, passion, and vitality. Its petals, like delicate watercolor strokes, unfold before the viewer, inviting them to immerse themselves in a world of colors and emotions. Red is not just the color of the flower but a thread that runs through the entire piece, connecting its exquisite details.

In the foreground, the rose is surrounded by a geometric ornament that seems to have stepped out of ancient Ukrainian textiles. These patterns have deep roots in the traditions of textile art, a craft to which I dedicated a part of my life. Each line and shape of the ornament echoes those days when I studied the art of weaving, weaving stories into every inch of fabric. The geometric patterns embracing the rose symbolize our connection to our native land, with its motifs that adorned the lives of our ancestors.

This piece combines my love for flowers and embroidery, where the blooms, painted in delicate hues, intertwine with the ornament, creating a harmonious dialogue between nature and tradition. The dominant red color symbolizes the love and inspiration that guide my hand in each stroke. This painting is more than just a flower or a pattern; it is a reflection of the soul, where every line and color tell the story of a craftswoman who carefully weaves the past and the present.

To acquire this painting is to bring a piece of Ukrainian soul into your home, a warmth passed through patterns, and beauty that blossoms in every petal. It will make a wonderful addition to any space, adding a special charm and a connection to a rich cultural heritage. This artwork is not just a decoration but a story that comes alive in colors and lines, filling the space with inspiration and love.

  • About this artist

    Concept

I am a Ukrainian professional artist from the city of Chernivtsi. Now I live and work in Ukraine.
Art is part of my life, so I draw every day. My country is going through a very difficult time now, it hurts me a lot, but when I paint I feel calmer. I feel that I am doing something important for the environment.

My artistic work is based on an endless search for meaning and truth, reflected in the depiction of the awe-inspiring beauty of nature. Observing the ever-changing sky, which shifts from daytime brilliance to nighttime magic, I explore the eternal dilemmas of humanity and my inner contradictions.

I am endlessly drawn to the flowers, these elegant symbols of life and beauty, which mirror the kaleidoscope of emotions and experiences I draw upon in my work. With the help of watercolors, I try to convey the invisible essence of each object, expressing my deep emotions and experiences through bright and rich pigments.

Light and shadow, this magical dance of nature, is an essential source of my inspiration. Their ever-changing shapes and shades stimulate my creativity, encouraging me to explore the artistic depths further.

In my art, I strive to convey my love for nature and my inner feelings - from love and joy to the bitterness of separation and longing. I explore the different aspects of love, its impact on people, and the unpredictable ways it can return. In each of my works, I reflect this versatility.

I strive to share my worldview with viewers, believing in the power of art to bring people together and create a space of shared understanding and empathy. When my works stimulate viewers to think, evoke emotions or even help them find a reflection of their inner world, this becomes my greatest reward.
