This is the series “Black & white cinema .”
The portrait painted with two pigments, thanks to which there is a beautiful granulation, bright and expressive contrast.
I use this technique in portraits to show depth and clarity.
In fact, this is a picture painted in monochrome, but due to the properties of watercolor, when it dries, it breaks up into several pigments, which allows you to enjoy the beauty of the painting.
In my painting, I use materials and tools of the highest quality, time-resistant- 300g/m2 paper and professional watercolors.
Watercolor paints by Daniel Smith, Rembrandt Golden Talens., Nevskaya palitra. Watercolor paper 300 g. Arches, Baohong s8
