Everyone certainly has paintings that live in memories ....
Mine lives in a cozy hut with striped homespun rugs, carved wooden furniture and airy feather beds, dressed in snow-white clothes with exclusive embroidery on the lake shore and a mystical view from the window of the lemonade thickets ... I don
't know why!? But my grandmother had a portrait of the leader of the Soviet era on the windowsill in the pre-banik....but even from that small room there was a sense of warmth and homely comfort in retro style....
I still go back there, mentally, to sit : on a blue wooden sofa with peeling paint.
